Well we haven’t lost against West Brom in the last 10 games against them at the Bridge, their last win coming in 1978. That alone would be enough for me to predict a Chelsea win, but add to that our recent form and it really is a no brainer.
The switch to 3-4-3 has been an absolute revelation. The formation just seems to suit every single player in the squad so much better. And as we showed last weekend and also against Spurs, even when we go behind we don’t panic and remain comfortable that we will get back into the game.
All in all this is a nailed on home win. Famous last words perhaps, but I doubt it.
Stingy odds from the bookies as you’d expect, with 3/10 the best price on Chelsea to beat West Brom. Obviously I would not recommend touching that.
But if you consider a double of Chelsea to win and Eden Hazard to score anytime, it pays out 2.90 (meaning £10 returns £29) and that looks a bit more sensible, so that is my bet of the week.
Prediction: Chelsea to win and Hazard to score anytime
