I have absolute confidence in them. That is what they do. You know I’m talking about Spurs right? Yes April was a slightly strange month for us with two league defeats towards the beginning. We bounced back though and have finished the monthly strong again ahead of the final push. Last month we had our busiest month game wise since December and there was always going to be a little blip at some point and I was never really worried.
We have had it now though, whilst Spurs were winning game after game but that will not continue. They have got back close to us as we tease them into thinking they can still win the league but once again they’ll falls short. Nothing will pleasure me more when their hopes are dashed once again when they start losing and drawing as there is no way they can continue their good run. We have been the better team all season and we’ll show them later this month what it looks like to win and lift a trophy. If not two.
As mentioned at the start of the calendar year, myself and a couple of friends are doing a Sky Sports Super 6 game points system as we have decided to try to predict our results for the remainder of the season. All for a bit of fun to see how we’d do. You’d be more than welcome to join us if you like, just get in contact? I myself have had a terrible past month and my lead has now vanished. George is now the man on fire with not only correct result predictions, but numerous correct score predictions too. With four games to go then, we can all win our mini-league:
Oliver – 40 points in total (10 correct results, 4 correct score)
Alexis – 39 points in total (12 correct results, 3 correct score)
George – 40 points in total (10 correct results, 4 correct score)
Below are the fixtures for the final month of the season, before each game we’ll carry on doing our predictions and update the blog. Then after the game the result and a small match report etc will be updated as well:

I don’t think anyone going to the game didn’t think they wouldn’t see at least four goals or more beforehand. As you can see from our predictions we thought exactly the same and so it proved. Gutted to actually have conceded an early goal mind due, however it was soon forgotten once we got going.
Our performance was a fitting display to round off our great league season and in the 26th minute there was also a fitting send off for our Captain, Leader, Legend John Terry. It’s been a pleasure JT. Thank you so much!
League – Mon 15 May 2017 20:00 CHELSEA 4 VS WATFORD 3 – Sky Sports

Oliver – Chelsea 3 Watford 0

George – Chelsea 3 Watford 1
What a game of football that was to entertain us as we celebrated winning the league at home at Stamford Bridge. Obviously with all the changes we weren’t the team that we have been all season and thankfully so, but it was absolutely the right thing to do last night with one big game to come before the end of the season still. Thankfully and rightfully we still got the victory at the end of the game to finish a great entertaining evening. How happy was John Terry too when he scored, what a player, what a legend! Champions!! Champions!! Champions!!
League – Fri 12 May 2017 20:00 WBA 0 VS CHELSEA 1 – Sky Sports
Attendance: 25,367 & Referee: Michael Oliver
Oliver – Chelsea 2 WBA 0
Alexis – Chelsea 3 WBA 0
George – Chelsea 2 WBA 0
Champions!! Champions!! Champions!! How good does that feel? Absolutely fantastic achievement lads, so so happy today. We know Spurs got a bit giddy in their run in as they closed us down temporarily, but us winning the league was never in doubt. To be fair, West Brom made a game of it last night even with their current poor run of form but like true champions we kept going until we got the goal to win it. I don’t anyone would have predicted it would be Batshuayi though, so pleased for him but I am even more pleased for Conte. What a truly great effort in his first season with us. Champions!
League – Mon 8 May 2017 20:00 CHELSEA 3 VS MIDDLESBROUGH 0 – Sky Sports
Costa (23), Alonso (34), Matic (65)
Attendance: 41,500 & Referee: Craig Pawson
Oliver – Chelsea 3 Middlesbrough 0
Alexis – Chelsea 3 Middlesbrough 0
George – Chelsea 4 Middlesbrough 0
There was never ever any doubt going into this game that we wouldn’t win. It must have been the most confident myself and the other two had been going in to a game this season and we weren’t wrong. Middlesbrough are and have terrible since Christmas and it’s no surprise that they have now been relegated. Enough about them though, it’s now about us and our seven point lead at the top as we close in on another league title.
We’re now just one win away from that and this Friday it once again should come easily, of course West Brom have had a good season but for the past month have dropped off massively. There should be no stopping us and hopefully we’ll be partying come Friday.
